Our aim is for every experience you have with us to be positive, allowing you to achieve great oral health and the smile you’ve always wanted. Our welcoming practice atmosphere is designed to help you feel at ease, with our caring and professional team always on hand to help guide you. If you are feeling particularly nervous about your dental appointment, please let us know. We are experienced at helping nervous patients feel comfortable in the practice surroundings, and feel able to access treatment to help improve and maintain their oral health.

Your first visit

A private new patient consultation lasts 45 minutes and costs just £80 including all cross-infection control charges and X-rays. There will be no additional charges incurred. Any small x-rays we need to take are included in this price.

As your first appointment is slightly longer, it gives us time to discuss your previous dental experiences and your dental needs and wishes in detail. We carry out a thorough examination of your whole mouth and teeth, examining previous treatment and problems that may be developing. Please use this opportunity to ask anything about your mouth, oral health and changes you want to make to your smile.

If required, we will provide you with a full written treatment plan following the consultation which will be fully itemised to show the treatment needed and associated cost.

Looking after your child’s teeth

At Clover Dental, we recognise how important it is to get your child familiar and comfortable with visiting the dentist, to give them the best chance of maintaining healthy teeth for life.

We look at 11 aspects of your child’s dental health at every check up, including:

  • Any concerns you or they have about their teeth and gums
  • How aware they are of the importance of dental health
  • Any risks to their dental health from their diet and routines
  • How their dental health compares to their last check up
  • The health of their teeth and gums
  • A check on any fillings or other dental restorations they may have
  • The health of the soft tissues inside their mouth
  • The health and stability of their jaw
  • Their general health, and details of any regular medication
  • The health of their salivary glands and lymph nodes
  • A check of the areas around and between the teeth, including bone levels
