Our Treatments

Our aim is to help your keep your teeth and smile looking good and feeling great. Everyone is different with individual needs.  From a child with no fillings to an adult with established dental problems, there are many options we can offer you.  We take pride in delivering a broad selection of quality modern dentistry in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Tooth whitening can be a highly effective and simple way of lightening and brightening the natural colour of your teeth.  It can also remove stains and discolouration caused from tea, coffee, red wine and smoking.

We are happy to offer at home tooth whitening where a whitening gel is applied to the teeth with the aid of a thin stent or tray. This can be worn either for 30 minutes to one hour a day or overnight depending on the material being used. The choice of material is dependent on your preferred and also the dentists recommendation on which would be most suitable for you.

Chipped teeth, spaces between your teeth or discrepancies in the size and position of teeth can result in unsightly dark spaces or irregularities in your smile.

Small discrepancies can be greatly improved with the use of carefully matched tooth coloured fillings.  In some situations this can be done very easily without the need to drill away more tooth structure and can make a dramatic difference to the evenness of your smile.

Larger irregularities, especially in the shape and position of teeth can be corrected with the use of porcelain veneers or crowns.  This is the sort of procedure often seen on the makeover programs.

Brace treatment is not just for children and can be used with great effect on adults too. Braces can be used to correct small or severe discrepancies in the position of teeth and some can be nearly impossible to see. Treatment such as fixed braces or Invisalign will be referred to a local specialist.

Our Hygienist will help you understand that clean teeth and healthy gums are not just an important part of how your teeth and smile look, they are also the cornerstone of good dental health.

In the UK gum disease accounts for around 75% of the teeth lost in adults and yet is very easy to prevent.

To help our patients maintain clean teeth, healthy gums and good oral health, our patients can see our hygienist as often as necessary, usually every three months to a year, depending on their needs.

Children too can see our hygienist for help and encouragement in looking after their teeth, hopefully avoiding such problems starting.

Our general dentistry services include regular check-ups, fillings, root-fillings, crowns, bridges, veneers, extractions, dentures, and a range of preventative dental treatments to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

If you have unsightly fillings, we can replace these with modern white fillings, restoring your confidence and giving you back your beautiful smile.

Sometimes it may well seem that the easiest way of resolving a painful or problematic tooth is to lose it. However a little time and effort saving a tooth and restoring both comfort and function can save time and expense replacing a missing tooth at a later date.

Check-ups for children of our regular patients are not charged for up to the age of 8 years old. Treatment can be received under private care or Denplan plans for children.
